Ancient Rome meets Cotswold stone in this mouth-wateringly aromatic English beauty, made from vines grown on ancient limestone quarries and named after the god of wine. Zesty and refreshing, it’s simply divine with sushi and seafood. But this vegan-friendly white goes equally well with crunchy salads, lemon-drizzled asparagus or Vietnamese summer rolls.

Harvey Nichols Cotswolds Bacchus was the first English still wine to be bottled under our own label. It’s a wonderfully aromatic wine that sings of orchards, wildflower meadows and verdant rolling countryside. Expect zingy citrus, tangy gooseberry, classic elderflower, a Loire-esque minerality, tropical notes of lychee and pineapple, and extreme lip-smacking refreshment.

The Cotswolds; home to rolling hills, clean air, honey-coloured stone, nature’s bounty and a plethora of castles, stately homes and bustling market towns. And now it also boasts one of the most exciting wineries in the country, Woodchester Valley, who make this Bacchus. This family-owned boutique wine producer has three vineyards nestled among the valleys of Stroud. The area has a rich Roman history, and one thing is for certain, wherever the Romans went there was always wine. And sure enough, winemaking in this area of the Cotswolds was documented in the Doomsday Book. Woodchester Valley’s winemaker Jeremy Mount has a wealth of experience, having worked at wineries in England, Chablis, South Africa, Germany, Napa Valley, Malta and New Zealand. So, you’re in extremely safe hands with this new addition to the Harvey Nichols range.
