A porter is a dark style of beer developed in London early in the 18th Century. Our twist on this classic has been crafted with heavily roasted malt and actual chocolate. Weighing in at a warming 6.8% this full-bodied brew pulses with roasted coffee notes juicy raisin festive spices and real dark chocolate oomph. Magnum hops accentuate that bittersweet cacao nib flavour while an intricate mix of Pale Munich Brown Crystal Wheat and Black malts creates robust complexity.
Pair this Chocolate Porter with your favourite comfort food on a cold night or serve it alongside Mexican black mole or coloradito Jamaican brown stew chicken Chinese black bean sauce or anything roasted and doused with onion gravy. We also love it with rich chocolate desserts.
