Gentleman Jack Tennessee Whiskey

Jack Daniel was a fine, upstanding gentleman and this double-mellowed Tennessee Whiskey is made in his honour. Now, Tennessee Whiskey undergoes what is called the Lincoln County Process, which is a filtering through charcoal before being filled into barrels. Gentleman Jack is a little bit different as it receives a second charcoal mellowing before bottling, resulting in an exceptionally smooth take on the classic Jack Daniel’s. That second pass through charcoal removes a lot of the woodiness, resulting in one of the sweetest, smoothest, lightest and least woody expressions from this world-famous distillery. Tingling on the tongue with notes of vanilla, caramel, cinnamon, foam banana sweets and a little liquorice, Gentleman Jack has a gentle warmth, but no burn. Dangerously easy to drink, and if you’ll allow us to let you into a controversial secret, we think a Gentleman Jack and Coke is better than a classic Jack (Old No.7) and Coke.
