Since its founding in 1776, the house of Champagne Louis Roederer has been synonymous with some of the world's greatest Champagnes. With over 70% of the grapes coming from its own estate vineyards, and the largest percentage of vineyard ownership of any major Champagne house, Louis Roederer is able to carefully control the quality of its grapes and resultant Champagne releases. Roederer’s Brut Rosé 11 is a blend of 65% Pinot Noir and 35% Chardonnay from select prestigious vineyard sites in Champagne. Produced in a meticulous fashion that adopts the saignée method, 20% of the wine is matured in wood ahead of being aged for four years in cellars including six months resting after disgorging to complete its maturation. A pure, precise wine that showcases a delicate pink colour and a lively stream of fine bubbles. Rich and powerful on the nose, it bursts with aromas of red fruit, blood orange, spicy notes and cocoa. It is best enjoyed with mixed canapes, smoked salmon or more complex dishes like duck a l’orange.
