Maria Black established her eponymous line of sleek yet playful jewellery in 2010. Oxidising gold and silver into tiny bubbles as a replacement for beading or gemstones, she works her creations into fierce spikes and dramatic curves, or minimalist, geometric shapes. Despite this refined approach, Black's necklaces, rings and bracelets are far from simple; each multi-textured piece is versatile and thoroughly individual.
