Barbera d'Asti Superiore Nizza 2015

Oddero only make 8,000 bottles of their Barbera d’Asti Superiore Nizza, which hails from a tiny one-hectare plot of 60-year-old vines grown in the finest area for Barbera. Aged in oak for 18 months, its red fruit flavours have taken on layers of dark chocolate, spices and game. Barbera d’Asti is always so food friendly, and this is no exception. Consider pairing with comfort foods like lasagne, pizza and stews.

The Oddero family have been making wine since the 18th Century. Despite being one of the most famous names in Piedmont, it’s still very much a family business that also makes its own honey.
