The Poacher’s Relish is a delectable smoked salmon twist on the world famous anchovy-based The Gentleman’s Relish (also known by its Latin name Patum Pepperium). Crafted from the finest smoked salmon, butter, rusk, zesty lemon and a top-secret selection of herbs and spices, this piquant, smoky and citrussy paste satisfies a myriad of cravings all at once.

We love it spread sparingly on hot buttered toast and then topped with scrambled egg, cress or slices of cucumber. It can be used to top blinis or stirred directly through pasta or risotto. But, whatever you choose to do with it, we highly recommend serving it with a glass of vintage rosé Champagne, even if this is not the traditional poacher’s choice.
