Matured in new American oak hogsheads for 18 months it fully deserves its perfect score from Richard Hemming MW because this multi-vineyard and multi-regional blend is a stunner. Explosive blackberry crème de cassis plum crumble cherry and blueberry fruits are joined by notes of vanilla coconut Nutella tobacco cardamom mint cola creamy coffee black olive tapenade dark chocolate cedar and the smoke of burning marshmallows creating an intriguing dark and brooding red that will improve for decades to come.
