Use a chef-grade grater to grate this natural Himalayan Salt Rock on to your food. This salt was mined from the foothills of the “salt range” in Pakistan and is believed to be the purest form of salt having been formed when prehistoric seas evaporated some 250 million years ago. Resembling a precious gemstone the salt is broken into faceted rocks of varying sizes and shades from rosy pink to translucent white. The Rivsalt rock salt comes with a miniature Japanese stainless-steel grater that sits stylishly in the engraved natural white oak stand. A practical and beautiful accoutrement to the table allowing the diner to grate the preferred amount of delicate salt to their preference. It's also a great way to finish a Margarita or add flair to a tequila night.

Created by Swedish entrepreneur and designer Jens Sandringer the range was inspired by an evening at a Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant in Beijing where the chef seasoned dishes using a large ginger grater and big rock salt.
