And it was worth the wait seven times over. This beautifully bottled gin takes its name from the seven small dwelling that gave birth the village of Ullapool located on Loch Broom in northwest Scotland. It’s handcrafted from seven botanicals – including juniper pink peppercorns cubeb lemon peel and a secret blend of local ingredients – in a traditional copper alembic still.
Clean powerful and bracing – as you would expect from this part of Scotland – Seven Crofts Gin takes your taste buds for a ramble through a pine forest before warming the cockles with peppery juniper. Amongst the classic lemon peel and coriander flavours there’s also a highly unusual plum note. Serve with premium tonic and a slice of orange or mix it into a Breakfast Martini invented by Salvatore Calabrese. Just make sure it’s after 7 o’clock.
