Veuve Clicquot

Veuve Clicquot was established by Philippe Clicquot-Muiron in 1772 but it wasn’t until under the direction of Madame Clicquot that the Champagne house really made its mark. Reportedly known to her peers as “La Grande Dame” of Champagne, Madame Clicquot defied every convention of the day, personally supervising cellar activities and introducing innovative production techniques that are still used today. The brand (now owned by the Moet-Hennessy-Louis Vuitton group) has continued to grow in both prestige and experience, renowned worldwide for its classically styled and full-bodied Champagne.
