The Artisan Single Harvest Tawny Port 1963
The Cellar Master’s Trilogy is a series of rare aged Single Harvey Tawny Ports created by one of Portugal’s finest producers and a Royal Warrant Holder, Graham’s.
The Artisan 1963 hails from one of the greatest vintages of the 20th Century and displays the craftmanship required to make Ports that can age for decades. Sourced from Graham’s flagship vineyard Quinta dos Malvedos and matured for over half a century, it’s a masterpiece of Earl Grey, honeysuckle, caramelised nuts, Christmas cake, fennel seed, mint and marmalade – herbal tea meets British classics. Bottled at around 55 years old, this is so good it almost brings a tear to the eye to drink it.
Established in 1820, Graham’s is one of the most famous names in the Port trade and has long been synonymous with the greatest vintage Ports. The Symington family acquired the company from the Graham family in 1970, so today Graham's remains a wholly family-owned firm. They are not only the world’s leading producer of premium Port, but also the biggest vineyard owner in the Douro Valley – a UNESCO World Heritage Site of jaw-dropping beauty.
