The Woodford Reserve Distillery is now a National Historic Landmark because in 1812 this was where the making of fine Bourbon first took place. The Distiller’s Select is crafted from a mixture of 72% corn 18% rye and 10% malted barley the sweetness of the corn is balanced by the nuttiness of the barley and the spice of the rye. Triple distilled before entering oak barrels for at least six years Woodford Reserve’s flagship whiskey is super smooth and dangerously drinkable. Rich and full bodied with notes of festive spices sultanas apple crumble heavy on the topping hot cross bun gingerbread vanilla caramel honeyed granola Terry’s Chocolate Orange leather nut oil and cookie dough plus gorgeous highlights of mint leaves toasted oak and caraway.
