Caleño Light & Zesty is an alcohol-free Latin take on gin crafted from a vibrant blend of tangy Inca berries (aka cape gooseberry or physalis peruviana) tropical pineapple punchy papaya juniper coriander green cardamom and lemon peel. But while gin has a scientifically proven propensity to make us maudlin (they don’t call it ‘Mother’s Ruin’ for nothing) Caleño tastes like purest bliss. On top of which it’s zero sugar low calorie alcohol free vegan friendly sweetener free and allergen free; so it really is for everyone.
At ‘The Low and No Masters 2021’ organised by a team of experts at The Spirits Business the panel crowned the “complex enjoyable fruity” Caleño Light & Zesty Tropical Alcohol-Free Spirit with a Master Award making it one of the very best non-alcoholic white spirits out there. To get the party started pour 50ml over ice top with 200ml of tonic water and garnish with an Inca berry or the citrus of your choice. Alternatively muddle with mint lemon and a pinch of sugar then top with soda or pineapple juice.
