Grenache and Vermentino (known locally as Rolle) fermented in a combination of stainless steel (to capture all the aromatics) and oak barrels (to add creaminess and richness), Château d’Esclans is a hidden gem that everybody should acquaint themselves with. Crunchy peach, lemon, raspberry sorbet, honeydew melon and a prickle of white pepper are mellowed by creamy vanilla, frangipane and white chocolate praline from the oak.
