With all its usual star factor Rosé 2021 is the new release from Château Miraval Brad Pitt's and Angelina Jolie's iconic French estate which the then-couple took over in 2008. And we love it in this super-cute and picnic-sized half bottle format.

100% organically produced this perennial favourite is a blend of old vine Cinsault Grenache Rolle and Syrah. Pale pink in appearance the nose is intense with delicate notes of raspberry redcurrant pink grapefruit and strawberry while the palate is elegant and beautifully balanced. Immensely versatile with food this rosé works particularly well with light Mediterranean influenced sauces and dishes such as carpaccio artichokes tuna and hams.

Although famous for the ‘Brangelina’ connection there’s much more to Château Miraval than just that. Adam Lechmere a writer who has contributed to Decanter World of Fine Wine Wine Enthusiast and many more publication said of a previous vintage: “Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie bought their Provençal estate in 2008 and promptly formed a partnership with the Perrin wine family of Beaucastel. Pitt himself gets very involved at every stage of the winemaking Marc Perrin says. Whatever his input the wine is delicious with light strawberry aromas balance and fine acidity. Drink with raw seafood.” It’s this note of the expertise of the legendary Perrin family that will pique the interest of true aficionados. As one of the critics of the highly respected wine website Vinous puts it: “Put aside the celebrity cachet of this wine and judge it for what it is: an outstanding classically built Provençal rosé that happens to be made by the highly esteemed Perrin family of Châteauneuf-du-Pape's Château de Beaucastel.”
