They’re an exciting new breed of garagiste in Saint-Émilion creating immensely concentrated and juicy reds using innovative techniques and lots of new oak influence. With a little help from Stéphane Derenoncourt (one of the world’s most sought-after consultants) Alexandre and Nicolas Robin (whose sisters used to own Château Lafleur and Château Le Gay) are building a reputation for excellence. With less than eight hectares of vines they make wines in tiny quantities so this is very hard to come by.
