Based in the northwest of Italy Cocchi is a long-established producer of fine wine and spirits renowned for its exceptional quality. Although more famous for their sparkling wine releases it is the aromatised aperitif wines which have received the most attention of late. Based on all-natural recipes containing wine sugar herbs and spices this unique aperitif is aged in oak before being bottled. Cocchi Americano Rosa is a recently introduced alternative to the producer’s flagship Bianco release which is a blend of two highly aromatic grape varieties; Brachetto and Malvasia. This expressive base wine is blended with herbs fruit and spices most notably gentian cinchona and citrus similar to the Bianco classic version but with an extra addition of ginger and rose petals. Delicately sweet floral and spicy this delicious release can be enjoyed chilled on its own or with soda or tonic and a zest of grapefruit.
