This keeps the vines healthy and hardy, and also slows the ripening process, allowing great complexity to build in the grapes. The result is a wine that punches well above its price point. Crafted using Syrah and just a splash of Grenache, this full-bodied, rounded and crowd-pleasing red delivers plum, cherry, blackberry, roasted herbs, liquorice, charcoal, rose tea and violet notes. In terms of food pairing, it will go with grills, roasts and barbeques, but our favourite way to enjoy it is with Provençal cuisine such as ratatouille, tapenade and gardiane d’agneau.
