Now a 24-hectare domaine in the heart of the Sancerre appellation it remains a truly family affair with Jean-Paul’s daughters Isabelle and Elise taking over the winemaking and administrative aspects of the estate.
The fruit that goes into the Grand Cuvée is carefully selected from the old vines of the estate and really is the signature style of the Balland family. Concentrated and elegant this wine bursts with aromas of lime flower anise mango and sweet spices. Perfect to be enjoyed as an aperitif or alongside oysters or goats’ cheese.
