ASICS

Founded in 1949, ASICS began as Onitsuka Co. Ltd. – named after its founder, then Onitsuka Tiger a year later. After an initial run of sporting successes, including Olympic golds, the brand merged with another company to form ASICS. An acronym for the Latin ‘Anima Sana In Corpore Sano’, or, ‘a healthy soul in a healthy body’, ASICS continues to build on its predecessors legacy – one of innovation, quality and a passion to create the best products that all sport enthusiasts seek.
