British Editorial Director Sarah Harris curates her Autumn/Winter 2025 highlights in an exclusive edit at Harvey Nichols. From Gabriela Hearst’s exquisite tailoring to KHAITE’s evening elegance, the collection reflects the “considered minimalism” of Sarah’s personal style, showcasing a selection of silhouettes that transcend both season and trend.
Talk us through your curated edit…They’re clothes I want to live in. Pieces that I want to reach for in the morning. For me they also have to be somewhat multitasking – from the office to a meeting, and on to an evening event.
Your style is best described as…I’d call it considered minimalism. I lean towards a uniform – jeans, a shirt or T-shirt, and a well-cut blazer.
Your style advice for AW25 is…Invest in shape and good fabrics, I’d always rather have one great suit than three mediocre ones.
The trends to look out for in AW25 are...Don’t be sidetracked by trends, choose the ideas that appeal to you. For me it’s oversized tailoring, straight-leg 90s denim and mannish-shaped trousers.
The icon in your autumn wardrobe is…Always a blazer. It can frame anything and anchor a look with authority.
Your top tips for transitioning your wardrobe into autumn are…Go slow and layer, until you need a coat. I love layering knits in tonal colours – one to wear and another slung over my shoulders or tied around the neck.
Your skincare routine for autumn is...I swear by my regular facials from Fatma at Skin Design London, in addition to Augustinus Bader and Sisley-Paris.
The three items in your Fashion Week bag are…Oliver Peoples sunglasses, lip balm, iPhone.
Your Fashion Week packing tip is...Check the weather and never overpack. I plan what I want to wear in advance, so I literally pack an outfit for each day that I’m away, with a couple of additions in case I change my mind.
Topping your wishlist this autumn is...Leather jackets, I need to edit my wishlist. There are too many good ones this season.
Your go-to brands for autumn styling are…The Row, TOTEME, KHAITE, Saint Laurent, and also the Gianvito Rossi slingback heels that I wore with the KHAITE dress – there’s nothing those shoes don’t look good with, they’re also super comfortable.
Your go-to location in the capital this autumn is…Harvey Nichols, obviously.
