Fourcas-Borie is a 45 hectare property planted with 90% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot, overlooking the hamlets Fourcas and Tris in the Listrac appellation.
Chateau Fourcas-Borie was formerly known as Chateau Fourcas-Dumont. It has been run since 2009, as the name suggests, by Bruno Borie of Ducru-Beaucaillou.
68% Merlot, 21% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Petit Verdot. Modern and supple with lovely fine tannins and fruit depth, making it soft and harmonious.
Under the control of the winemaking team of Château Ducru-Beaucaillou in Saint-Julien, the estate has crafted a structured wine that also has a sumptuous, rich side. It is still young and shows considerable tannins. Let it age and drink this wine from 2023.
