2010 represents the latest release from Foursquare Distillery, Barbados. The twenty-first release (Mark XXI) in the Exceptional Cask Selection. It continues the award-winning Vintage series, which launched with the ground-breaking and critically acclaimed 2004 release - the Supreme Champion at the International Spirits Challenge in 2018.
So it's little surprise that the bar is high for the release of this 2010 Vintage. A single blended rum, it's been distilled in the copper double retort pot-still and matured in Barbados for 12 years in ex-bourbon cask American white oak. Foursquare 2010 offers a complex and evolving sip and a rich intensity that you'll return to again and again.
Founded in 1908, Martin Doorly's distillery evolved into Doorly's Macaw and became the first rum exported from Barbados. It's now made at the highly respected Foursquare Distillery, described by The Telegraph newspaper as "the world's best rum distillery". However, as a nod to its middle incarnation, each bottle of Doorly's features a rare macaw.
