Crafted in the heart of Emilia Romagna, Il Borgo del Balsamico’s Aged Balsamic Vinegar Modena IGP Yellow Label is a blend of cooked must, from locally grown and handpicked grapes, and wine vinegar which has been skilfully matured in oak barrels.
The rich and exceptional yellow label balsamic is a younger vinegar whose fresh, slightly sharp tang works particularly well drizzled over salads by itself or in a dressing as well as in marinades and incorporated into sauces.
Il Borgo del Balsamico is a business run by two sisters, Cristina and Silvia Crotti, whose ethos is to bring supreme quality to the traditional balsamic vinegar market. Rejecting the need for labelling the vinegars with a particular number of years of ageing, they have instead focused on giving the consumer direction, with colour coding, on how and when to use them resulting in a fuller and more elevated experience.
