Prendimé Dark Chocolate with Almonds 150g
This chunky chocolate bar is handcrafted in Tuscany and packed with the most wonderful almonds from Sicily. Usually reserved for pastries, Avola Almonds grow at the foot of Mount Etna and require very little water, making them one of the world’s most sustainable nuts. Their thick woody shells keep out any nasties and trap in all the goodness, so they’re packed with antioxidants, protein, Vitamin E, fibre and lots of other nutrients. Intensely bittersweet dark chocolate enveloping the crunchiest roasted whole almonds; this is the sort of chocolate bar that makes the requirement for elaborate desserts completely redundant. Simply serve this vegan-friendly delight with a coffee or a glass of Vin Santo, Passito di Pantelleria or Madeira.
Lead by their passionate founder Cecilia Tessieri, Amedei produces some of Europe’s finest chocolate.
