Burrough's Reserve Oak Rested Gin - Beefeater

Burrough's Reserve Oak Rested Gin

Representing Beefeater's latest release, Borrough's Reserve is a hand-crafted, ultra premium gin unlike any other on the market. Distilled in a small historic copper still from the 19th century, the spirit is then uniquely rested in ex-Lillet oak barrels before being bottled. Produced in accordance with the original Beefeater recipe, which was refined by the founder of Beefeater James Burrough in the 1860s, Burrough's Reserve is distilled by hand using James Burrough's original copper "Still Number 12". With a capacity of only 268 litres, "Still Number 12" produces such small batches that each bottle of Burrough's Reserve displays its batch and bottle number on the label. As one of the leading experts in gin with over 45 years' experience, Master Distiller Desmond Payne explains, "I wanted to create something truly unique that celebrated the distilling heritage of Beefeater. I expect Burrough's Reserve to appeal to free thinking individuals who enjoy challenging convention and exploring new sensory experiences with gin." Complex, multi-layered and individual in style, this gin should be treated like a serious sipping spirit to enjoy neat over ice or as the base of full-bodied martinis.
