Croix Canon is the renamed and rarely seen second wine of Château Canon – a fashionable Bordeaux estate that joined Château Rauzan-Ségla, Napa Valley’s St. Supéry Estate and Domaine de l’Ile, located on the island of Porquerolles, under the ownership of Chanel. This stylish property is positioned on top of Saint-Emilion’s much-coveted limestone plateau, and with Chanel’s backing, you know that no expense has been spared. 

In a brilliant vintage like 2015, Croix Canon is a second wine that could give many a Grand Vin a run for its money. Predominantly Merlot with a splash of Cabernet Franc for structure and tannin, it is aged in oak for 18 months. What is drawn from those precious casks is rich with blackberry, plum, cherry, crème de cassis, red summer fruits, liquorice, coffee bean, leather, nutmeg and wildflowers.
