The Léoube estate was bought by the founders of Daylesford Organic in 1997. Seduced by this beautiful château in Provence and the Léoube’s history they set out to make wines with character that were true to their terroir while remaining respectful of nature. The estate stretches over 560 hectares of which 65 are dedicated to vineyard in the protected site of Cape Benat. The unique location climate and soil composition makes it one of the most special and lushest natural environments on the Côte d’Azur.
Unmistakable scents of mint wild strawberries and red cherries frame this assured and understated Rosé. The fresh yet harmonious palate is lifted by a saline finish that makes it a complete and highly accomplished wine. Rosé de Léoube is like bottled summertime especially in an enormous double magnum and can be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif or as the perfect accompaniment to cold cuts goat cheese or sushi.
