After suffering several knees injuries, Michèle Evrard discovered the restorative and regenerating virtues that the plant Centella Asiatica has on the skin. That coupled with her qualifications in pharmacy and 20 years of experience in the beauty industry led her to create Cosmetics27. After extensive research, the founder discovered that this medicinal plant has been used in Indian Ayurvedic medicine and other South-East Asian cultures for over three thousand years and contains a wealth of beneficial properties. So, in 2007, she selected three naturally purified extracts of the plant for the heart of her formulas that aid towards everything from skin repairing and regenerating to anti-inflammatory and antioxidant healing.
