2019 was a highly unusual year. Despite the blazing hot and extremely dry conditions, the wines have freshness and acidity, much to the surprise of the critics and the winemakers. The result has been declared a “a superb vintage” by the experts at Wine Advocate. So, we recommend getting all over this vintage before everything gets snapped up. “The 2019 Bourgogne Blanc, bottled in March 2021, is lively on the nose with citrus fruit, crushed limestone, quite tensile for a regional wine. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, quite concentrated with a very slight viscosity towards its finish. Impressive.”

Domaine Leflaive’s Bourgogne Blanc is sourced from old vines in “Les Houlières” and younger vines in “Les Parties”, both of which reside in Puligny-Montrachet.
