Cognac ABK6 is owned and run by the father-and-daughter team of Francis and Elodie Abécassis of Domaines Francis Abécassis. Domaines Francis Abécassis has been producing Cognac from its own estate for many years but in 2005 Elodie and her father noticed a gap in the market: the need for a modern brand to appeal to a new generation of Cognac drinkers and ABK6 was born.
ABK6 is taken from the shorthand the family have always used to write their surname Abécassis and is pronounced ‘A beh ca sis’.
