Australian Shiraz 2015

The cello, as depicted on the front label of Harvey Nichols’ Australian Shiraz, pays reference to Nathan Waks, the celebrated cellist and proprietor of Kilikanoon, the multi award-winning estate where this wine is produced. Low yielding grapes from premium vineyard sites across South Australia were selected and gently vinified in a traditional manner before further ageing in small French and American oak casks. Unfiltered, this bright red wine displays aromas of ripe plum, dark cherry and a hint of spice leading to a compote of dark orchard fruit flavours supported with fine silky tannins and balanced acidity. Immediately approachable, this wine will also reward further cellaring for up to eight years. A perfect wine to partner roast meat dishes and a wide variety of barbequed food.
