Tasting Notes
The image of the goat on our label represents the relationship between the famous Crottin de Chavignol goats' cheese, and this wine, which is produced in the area of the same name.
Situated in the flinted hillsides of Saint-Satur, a combination of old vines (some over 60 years old), low yields and six months of lees ageing lends weight and concentration to this Harvey Nichols wine.
Produced by the partnership between Domaine Gérard Fiou and Henri Bourgeois, this pale yellow wine displays aromas of grapefruit with a hint of smoky minerality, supported by refreshing acidity, leading to a long and satisfying finish.
Delicious on its own as an apéritif, this wine also works exceptionally well with both fish and chicken dishes, and - of course - the perfect marriage with the local goats’ cheese. À la votre!
