Malbec 2017

The image on our front label is of the Andean Condor, a national symbol of Argentina, which is native to the Andean mountains that cloak the Valle de Uco where the wine is produced.

Using select parcels of Malbec, the grapes are hand-harvested from ten to twenty year old vines situated at a cool climate elevation of 1,100m. The resulting wine is aged for three months in new French oak prior to being bottled unfiltered.

Intense ruby in colour, this wine offers pronounced aromas of violets, red cherry and vanilla. Soft and juicy on the palate with flavours of ripe berries, cocoa and mixed spice, supported with ripe tannins culminating in a long, rounded finish.

A stunning example of Argentina’s flagship grape, this is perfect with local empanada, red meat dishes and cheeses. Salud!
