After graduating from the London College of Fashion and opening up her own boutique in Reykjavik, Icelandic designer Kata Alda went on to found Kalda with the aim of challenging conventional beauty in her designs, offering something bold and away from the ordinary. Handmade in Portugal using sustainable practices, Kalda offers footwear as strong, curated and individual as the woman wearing them.
