Tomato & Tuna Pasta Sauce 200g

Our pantry is filled with jars of this Sugo al Tonno – it’s become a bit of a go-to in a dinner fix. 

The simplicity of the ingredients list speaks volumes about the quality of each element, from the naturally sweet Emilia-Romagna tomatoes to the yellowfin tuna and even the final pinch of salt from the long-standing Cervia Salt Pan. Simply warm the contents of the jar gently in a pan and stir through freshly cooked pasta. Then season with black pepper to create the kind of comforting and homely dish that makes your kitchen feel like a trattoria. It’s also exceptional on bruschetta as a light nibble; alternatively, we love to spread this on to a homemade pizza base and top with a sprinkle of chopped black olives and mozzarella.
