In the late 1980s, La Rioja Alta decided to stop making white Rioja and instead bought a vineyard in Galicia and created this wonderfully aromatic Albariño. Packed with citrus, quince and orchard fruits, it has become a classic and has even been described by The Sunday Times as “one of the best Albariños on the market”.

Lagar de Cervera Albariño comes from La Rioja Alta’s vineyards in O Rosal and Cambados, Rías Baixas. Summery, lively and undeniably loveable; pair this with sunshine, light lunches and laughter.

Formed in 1890 by three families – the Ardanzas, the Aranas and the Alberdis – La Rioja Alta sets the benchmark for the entire Rioja region.
