Red Alaea Salt 100g
Hawaiian Red Alaea Salt takes seasoning to a whole new level, not just visually, but also because of its intense flavour and much-lauded health benefits. It was created by blending salt made from purified sea water with a red volcanic clay, which is both rich iron and contains over 80 different minerals. Lower in sodium than most table salts, it has a robust flavour that doesn’t fade during cooking and adds flair when sprinkled over finished dishes. Use it to make classic Hawaiian dishes such as kalua pig, poke or a jerky called pipikaula; cure salmon with it; replace dull old sea salt with something more colourful; or add drama to a Margarita rim.
