Timut Pepper – also known as timur berries, thingye and yerma – is a Nepalese spice with the tongue-tickling heat of Sichuan peppercorns and beautiful grapefruit aromas. Although not technically the same family as black pepper, it can be used in a similar way and loves fish, steamed greens, dal and buttered potatoes.
