Tanqueray No. Ten Gin - Tanqueray

Tanqueray No. Ten Gin

The perfect ten. First released in 2000, Tanqueray No. Ten quickly became a gin legend. Handcrafted in small batches, it was the winner of “Best White Spirit” three times in a row at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and is the only gin to have been inducted into their Hall of Fame. You’ll find it on the back bar of all great cocktail establishments and in the personal collections of spirits aficionados everywhere. When you talk to leading gin distillers – for example Lesley Gracie at Hendrick’s – about which gin they would drink if they couldn’t drink their own, one name comes up over and over again; Tanqueray No. Ten.

This iconic gin takes its name from Tiny Ten, the nickname of the copper pot still it is made in. Crafted to a top secret recipe using lots of fresh citrus, not an easy thing to do as it wont to burn. For many Tanqueray No. Ten makes the ultimate Martini, but however you drink it, this is one of the world’s finest gins.

Tanqueray was born in the 1830s. Charles Tanqueray’s original recipe was so good that it’s still used today almost 200 years later.
