Taylor's were the very first winemakers to produce Late Bottle Vintage Port, originally produced in 1970 by their current Chairman Alistair Robertson. It was created to replicate the aged flavour of Vintage Port while being immediately drinkable upon bottling. For that reason, it’s matured in oak for four years before release, this smooths the tannins and imparts rich complexity. So, serving this alongside a cheeseboard, fruitcake or chocolate dessert, you’ll discover wonderful dark fruits, crème de cassis, cherry, liquorice and exotic spices.
