Cigar-friendly Dalmore is a distillery always pushing the boundaries. This release takes their rich single malt and finishes it in Tawny Port pipes from the similarly pioneering and world-famous Graham’s. This bottle provides the perfect solution to the age-old question: “Should I have a dram or a Port as a postprandial snifter?” And it even comes with a pair of beautifully rounded Dalmore-branded and heavy-based glasses to drink it from.

Creamy fruity and smooth as sun-warmed marble. It’s like bottled pudding; sticky toffee pudding plum pudding summer pudding Christmas cake Eccles cake orange polenta cake with Seville marmalade icing Armagnac-soaked prunes and cherry liqueur chocolates.

Early owners of Dalmore came from Clan Mackenzie. Each bottle of Dalmore bears a twelve point stag in honour of the Mackenzies Chief Colin of Kintail who famously saved King Alexander III of Scotland from a charging buck and was rewarded with the right to use this royal emblem. Fortune favours the brave apparently and if you’re looking for Dutch courage – bottled at a slightly stronger than usual 46.5% – this is a delicious way to obtain it tumblers and all.
