4.1. Order Acceptance
All international orders are subject to Gloabl-e’s terms and conditions.
4.1.1 All orders are subject to acceptance in accordance with Our Order Acceptance Policy.
If You have provided Us with a valid email address, then after You have ordered We will send You an order acknowledgement email detailing the Products You have ordered. This does not mean that Your order has been accepted. Our acceptance of Your order will take place upon dispatch of the Product(s) ordered. On dispatch of Your order we will send You a dispatch confirmation email, at which point the contract between Us and You will be formed. These emails form part of the order process, and are not Marketing communications.
We may be unable to supply You with a Product and not accept an order because:
- The Product You ordered is unavailable;
- We are unable to obtain authorisation for payment or there is a problem receiving Your payment;
- We have identified a pricing or Product description error;
- The quantity of Product ordered is above restrictions placed upon Us by Our suppliers;
- You fail to meet the eligibility to order criteria as out in the Conditions.
If there are any problems with Your order, You will be contacted by Our Customer Services Team as soon as possible.
We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by You at any time.
If you have already paid for the Products we will refund you the full amount including any delivery costs charged as soon as possible.
4.1.2 All Products shown on the Website are subject to availability.
4.2.1. The prices of the Products will be as quoted on the Website at the time You submit Your order. We take all reasonable care to ensure that the prices of Products are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. All prices on our website will be presented to You in the currency You have selected.
4.2.2 The price of a Product does not include delivery charges and local duties and taxes. Our delivery charges are as advised to you during the check-out process, before you confirm your order. To check relevant delivery charges, please refer to our Delivery Page. Import taxes and customs duties (brokerage and customs clearance costs) will be calculated at checkout based on the country You are shipping to, if not differently stated. They will reflect the guaranteed total amount of import duties and local taxes applicable at the moment of Your order. This means there will not be additional costs billed upon delivery or due as C.O.D. (Cash on delivery) charges.
4.2.3 Our Website contains a large number of Products. It is always possible that, despite our reasonable efforts, some of the Products on the Website may be incorrectly priced. If we discover an error in the price of the Products You have ordered we will contact You to inform You of this error and we will give You the option of continuing to purchase the Product at the correct price or cancelling your order. We will not process Your order until we have Your instructions. If We are unable to contact You using the contact details You provided during the order process, we will treat the order as cancelled and notify You in writing. Please note that if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could have reasonably been recognised by You as a mispricing, we do not have to provide the Products to You at the incorrect (lower) price.
4.3. Payment and Security
Available payment options will be presented at checkout. When placing an international order through the Harvey Nichols website your transaction will be completed with Global-e and not Harvey Nichols. We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, and PayPal for all international orders, as well as the following for select countries:
