Basil Hayden’s Bourbon is part of Jim Beam’s Small Batch Bourbon Collection; a group of ultra premium bourbon whiskies handcrafted in limited quantities from unique recipes some dating back two centuries. Each release is carefully matured for exceptional quality and available only in limited quantities. Booker Noe grandson of the legendary Jim Beam created The Small Batch Collection and in doing so is credited with establishing the category of super premium bourbons. Booker took great care in crafting his bourbon and the Booker’s Bourbon bottle even features a label written in Booker Noe’s own handwriting. Bottled at 80 proof unlike traditional bourbons that use a corn based mash this uses nearly twice as much rye compared to other bourbons giving it a gentl yet spicy flavour. Whenever you hear the term 'smooth' this is a prime example of that. Deliciously spicy and honeyed with a dry light finish this excellent bourbon has universal appeal and deserves to be shared sipped and savoured.
