It was crafted using grapes sourced from old vineyards spread throughout Rioja in a cooler and wetter vintage that yielded fresher reds. The wine was then filled into American oak barrels that were manufactured by the winery’s own coopers where it remained for two years before being bottled. Too often overlooked within the stunning La Rioja Alta range this wine is a stone-cold classic that sits comfortable with everything from barbeques to Sunday roasts and from creamy cheese sauces to tomato-based pasta.
