Lakrids' classic medley of melty soft liquorice, smooth Dulce chocolate and crispy Maldon sea salt is the perfect sweet and savoury combination. He had sold out within two hours of opening - they were so good that one customer even bought the sample bowl. The following year he upscaled, setting up the world’s smallest liquorice factory in Taastrup, just outside Copenhagen. Now his dark little morsels of gluten-free hygge are available worldwide, and Lakrids is without a shadow of a doubt the world’s finest liquorice.
