Mouth-blown from ultra-thin muslin crystal into wooden forms, the Lobmeyr Water 28 pitcher looks delicate yet stays resilient in use. The crystal itself is entirely lead-free, which matters for a vessel you'll fill with water. Hans Harald Rath designed the form in 1952, and it's remained in continuous production since.
Product Highlights
- Handleless, rounded form sits balanced in your palm for a secure pour
- Stackable design for compact, space-saving storage in your cupboard
- Shape drawn from a medieval copper beaker in Vienna's MAK museum collection
- Winner of the German National Design Prize 'Gute Form' in 1964
- Hand wash recommended, with no tea towel inside, as thin walls can crack

- Formal dinner tables where you're serving water to seated guests
