Weingut Maximin Grünhaus has a winemaking history that can be traced back to Roman times. Located where the Mosel and Ruwer rivers meet, the winery is now run by the sixth-generation family member Maximin Von Schubert.

Maximin Riesling is one of his most playful, joyful and scintillating wines, as that amazing screwcap suggests. This classic Feinherb style was created with wild yeast to capture the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer terroir and stainless steel to retain the zingy freshness and fruity character. Crisp with flecks of green, almost like a lawn after snowfall, it crunches with notes of Granny Smith apple, lime zest, elderflower, melon, pineapple sorbet and greengage jam. This charming off-dry Riesling is dangerously smashable on its own, or a perfect match for spicy dishes like herb-packed bánh xèo, lime-doused Baja tacos or explosive pani puri.
