We are delighted to unveil the final stage of our Ground Floor revamp: Jewellery and Designer Accessories.
Nine months in the making, our Ground Floor has undergone the ultimate makeover, courtesy of renowned architects Virgile + Partners, and is now home to our state-of-the-art Beauty Lounge, a whole host of luxurious beauty and eyewear brands, and now, the definitive edit of Jewellery and Designer Accessories.
Located by our Sloane Street and Knightsbridge corner entrance, the Accessories space boasts a curated selection of the designers you know and love, plus a couple of new names to note. A few steps away, sitting pretty between Designer Accessories and Beauty Lounge, is our new Jewellery department, where you can find collections from our existing brands, showcased alongside seven new fine jewellers.
With diamonds by the dozen and so much more, the Ground Floor is officially a girl's best friend.
A TREASURE TROVE OF SHINY PRETTY THINGS
Elevated slightly above the rest of the Ground Floor, the Jewellery space represents a relaxed approach to luxury, with bespoke rugs on parquet flooring and plush velvet stools to ensure every customer has an exceptional experience. The eclectic display cases range from sculptural wooden counters to antique cabinets, with carefully-considered lighting to enhance the twinkling reflections of the jewellery on show.
On that note, we have expanded our fine jewellery offer, with a selection of new designers joining the likes of Annoushka, Marco Bicego and Talisman Gallery. Key concessions include Ara Vartanian, known for his unique, geometric creations, favoured by Kate Moss; Kojis, a British boutique specialising in antique diamonds and the jewel in our Britalia crown, Niquesa. In addition, we welcome French-Lebanese designer, Selim Mouzannar and, last but not least, Japanese pearl specialist, Tasaki, which is exclusively available at Harvey Nichols.
THE JEWELLERY EDIT
A CURATED EDIT OF ALL YOUR FAVOURITE BRANDS
We know very well that first impressions count, and with a prominent position by our Sloane Street and Knightsbridge corner entrance, we've pulled out all the stops to make our Accessories space as irresistible as possible.
On entering, customers are greeted by a wavy 'WOW Wall' of marble and copper panels, which will be dedicated to our bestselling brands, starting with Valentino. The luxurious boutique feel is further enhanced by sculpted display tables and vintage furnishings, with a back-lit presentation of scarves at the heart of the space.
In the way of designers, we have all the big-hitters, including Proenza Schouler, Lanvin and Stella McCartney, not to mention a whole host of new collections. The initial buy is focused on high-end, exclusive brands, including ex-McQueen and Jimmy Choo designer, Ming Ray, and Khirma Eliazov, a former fashion editor specialising in luxe, statement bags in exotic materials.
Of course, it's not all about the handbags, we've also bought into an array of plush fur scarves and stoles, including street style favourite Lilly e Violetta, alongside leather gloves from Agnelle and Hamerli, and haute hats from modern milliners Victoria Grant and Satya Twena.
THE KNIGHTSBRIDGE EDIT
BUYER'S NOTES: ACCESSORIES
“With the new concept we really wanted to elevate our offer. When the SS17 collections drop early next year, we will have Marni and Dries Van Noten on the floor, but the idea for launch is to layer in lots of exotics and high-end, exclusive pieces, in keeping with the boutique feel of the space.”
